Finding it hard to find people on my friends list playing CoD 4 lately due to the highly over-hyped MW2. If there's anyone here within the GMT timezone who plays CoD 4 on the Xbox 360, add me and we'll scrim, pub, quickscope, whatever.

I have it. I despise it. I am not bad at it (1.5 KD is respectable for search) but I just hate the gameplay, the engine and the players who camp the whole game to get Chopper Gunners and AC130's.

You have to adapt. 6 is different than 4. I jumped past 5 as well. You need to have a diverse class for flanking that is able to camp when needed. At about the 5-7 kill streak onto chopper gunner you need a striker etc. to sit around the corner with. You can't expect to merc with an assault rifle the whole time.

I understand the concepts of MW2 don't worry, I just don't like them. Like you just said there; once someone gets the harrier they camp for the 11 streak whereas on CoD 4 if you got a Helicopter, fine, woop woop. If you were at 6 kills, you'd still play the game the same, or near-to.

Stopping PRO
Steady PRO/Ninja PRO
(Claymore)

Rush/Flank:

UMP + Silencer
Marathon
Cold Blooded
Ninja PRO
(Throwing Knife)

Assault:

SCAR-H + Silencer
Scavenger PRO
Stopping PRO
Ninja PRO
Frag

Thats for TDM anyway. When playing HC search I mix and match but mainly keep the same strategic use for each class. I still hate the game though.
